The place

What drex. is

drex. is a service for making and sharing zines with other people, in clubs. We may change how it works, and we will try not to break things you rely on.

Your account

Your account is yours to look after

You need to be at least 13 years old. Give us an email address that reaches you, keep it current, and do not let other people use your account. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.

You can close your account whenever you like.

Your work

What you make stays yours

You own what you make here. We claim no ownership of your zines, your writing or your pictures.

So that the service can actually work, you give us permission to store, copy and display your content. A published zine is public on drex. Anyone with the link, or who finds the page, can see it, and the club and drex. may show it on club pages and share cards. That permission is limited to running and showing drex. It covers nothing else, and it ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we are technically unable to remove immediately, such as backups.

Only upload work that is yours to upload, or that you have permission to use.

House rules

What you may not do

Do not use drex. to:

• harass, threaten, or abuse anyone
• post content that is illegal, or that sexualises children
• post someone else’s work as your own, or breach their copyright
• break into accounts, scrape the service, or try to knock it over
• use it to send spam, or to collect other members’ details

You can report anything that breaks these rules from inside the app, or by emailing hi@drex.style. Reports reach a person, not a queue nobody opens.

Consequences

When we step in

If something here breaks these rules we may remove it, and if an account keeps breaking them we may suspend or close it. Where we can, we will tell you what happened and why, and you can reply to us about it. Serious or illegal cases may be acted on immediately.

The small print

What we do and do not promise

We work hard to keep drex. running and your work safe, but the service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not promise that it will never lose data — keep your own copies of anything you would be upset to lose.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit or data. Nothing here takes away a right you have that the law says you cannot sign away.

Changes

Changes, and the law

We may update these terms. If a change matters we will say so on this page and change the date at the bottom. Carrying on using drex. after that means you accept the new version.
